Services for Mrs. Virginia Ketcham, 80, of Spencer, were held Monday, Dec. 3, 2007, at First Christian Church of Spencer. Rev. Dan Mayes officiated the service.

Interment will take place at Fairview Cemetery of the Meadow in rural Langdon at a later date.

Virginia passed away Thursday, Nov. 29, 2007, at home.

Virginia Mae Ketcham, the daughter of Herman and Jeanette (Curry) Gustoff, was born Jan. 27, 1927, in Spencer. She received her education in Spencer.

Virginia married Tedwin "Ted" Ketcham on Jan. 30, 1945, in Spencer. They farmed near Royal, then moved to Fulda, Minn., to farm, and then to Rembrandt where they continued to farm. In 1964, they moved near Langdon until moving to Spencer in 1975. Virginia worked at Davies Company, Hansen's Dry Cleaning, 3 & 71 Truck Stop, Stub's Ranch Kitchen and at Sunshine Center. She was a member of the First Christian Church, Rebekah's and TOPS.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ted; and brothers: Donald and Merle Gustoff.

Virginia is survived by one son, A. Lee Ketcham and wife, Nancy of Spencer; one daughter, Leoma Haaland and husband, Russell of Spencer; six grandchildren; one brother, Verle Dean Gustoff and wife, Marge of Spencer; and one sister, Ruth Kunzman of Spencer.

Warner Funeral Home of Spencer is in charge of arrangements.
