There will be no formal services for Mrs. Maxine Bliss, 90, of Spencer, who passed away Thursday, Nov. 29, 2007, at Longhouse Residence of Spencer.

Interment will take place at Riverside Cemetery of Spencer.

Maxine Bliss, the daughter of Clarence and Wilda (Wise) Ellis, was born Jan. 25, 1917, in Spencer. She attended school in Spencer and graduated from Spencer High School in June of 1935.

Maxine married Robert Bliss on Oct. 24, 1953, in LuVerne, Minn. Following their marriage, she worked at a number of businesses, the last being for Dr. Michael and Dr. Ty Fideler Denistry in Spencer. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Spencer.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert on Oct. 10, 1983, and two brothers: Lee and Robert Ellis.

Maxine is survived by a sister-in-law, Phyllis Ellis of Superior, Wis.; and other extended family.

Warner Funeral Home of Spencer is in charge of arrangements.
