Services for Miss Peggy Jean Frink, 80, of Spencer, will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 27, 2007, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Spencer.

Visitation will begin at 4 p.m., Friday with the family present from 6-7:30 p.m. at the Warner Funeral Home of Spencer.

A Legion of Mars Rosary will be held at 4 p.m., Friday and a Catholic Vigil Service will be held at 4:30 p.m., Friday at the Warner Chapel in Spencer.

Interment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery of Emmetsburg.

Peggy passed away Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2007, at West Bend Care Center of West Bend.

Peggy Jean (Rose) Frink, the daughter of Frederick Walburn and Nettie Agnes (McCune) Rose, was born Feb. 5, 1927, in Brightmore, Mich.  Her childhood years were spent in Detroit, where she received her early education in a parochial grade school and later graduated from Northwestern High  School.  

Peggy married Lowell Frink on June 13, 1946, in Emmetsburg. Following their marriage, they lived in Cylinder for several years, until moving to Sheldon in 1963.  They moved to Spencer in 1967, where she had since made her home. Peggy was self-employed as an insurance salesman for many years. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Spencer, where she was active in the Legion of Mary and made rosaries.  She was also a member of the VFW.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Lowell Frink; a son: Mark; an infant grandson, Matthew Loder; and a brother, Richard "Billy" Rose.

Peggy is survived by two daughters: Letha Hedberg and her husband, Butch of Newton, and Linda Strohman and her husband, Teddy of Emmetsburg; two sons: Loren Frink and wife, Joyce of Waseca, Minn., and Edwin Frink and wife, Chris of Spencer; 19 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; brothers: Frederick Rose and wife, Georgette of Clinton, Milton Rose and wife, Johanna of Chicago, Ill., Harry Rose and wife, Marilyn of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Richard Rose and wife, Rose of Palantine, Ill.; and one daughter, Jacklyn Silverman of Coral Springs, Fla.

Warner Funeral Home of Spencer is in charge of arrangements.
