Funeral services for Velma Mullins, 88, of Hartley, who passed away on Sunday, Oct. 7, 2007, at the Community Memorial Health Center Mann Wing in Hartley, will be held at 2 p.m., today, Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2007, at the United Methodist Church in Hartley.
Velma Elsie (Trojahn) Mullins, the daughter of John and Ella (Wiese) Trojahn, was born on April 10, 1919, in Moneta. She spent her childhood years in Moneta, where she was educated in the Country School No. 7 of Center Township.
On Aug. 12, 1951, she married Gerald Mullins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and two sisters: Ruth Ann Petty and Leota Aldrich.
Velma is survived by one son, Rodney Mullins and his wife, Marcia of Somers; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three brothers: Marvin Trojahn and wife, Lois of Moneta, Alan Trojahn and wife, Joyce of Spencer, and Orlin Trojahn and wife, Diane of Terril; and three sisters: Evelyn Roberts of Spencer, Dorothy Meehlhause of Hartley, and June Rose Bruns and husband, Irel of Spirit Lake.
The Hartley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
