Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) got its 2007-08 year started with a fulll house at Hope Reformed Church Thursday morning. And true to its name, many of the mothers had their young ones with them. Jozefin Kierscht, a nine-week old attendee, (above) joined her mother Louise for a morning of activities, Likewise, two-year old Trevor joins mother Nicole Steele and Nesha Thompson for a laugh as MOPS organizers handed out door prizes. Coordinators wore pink hard hats to remind everybody of this year's theme: "The Home Factor - Building a Home." Mothers with preschool-age children are in the midst of a key foundation-building time in life. Moms typically meet the needs of their young children, yet often sacrifice nurturing their own hearts and minds. MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) was created with these moms in mind. Mothers are encouraged to grow by establishing friendships with other like-minded moms, and be encouraged by experienced mentor moms.

* Call MOPS Co-Coordinators Cheryl Vanderah at 262-0053 or Cassie McCreary at 240-0298 for more information. Child care is free.
