James Elmer Farquhar, 60, of Boca Raton, Fla., passed away on Sunday, Sept. 30.

Visitation and funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, Oct. 5, 2007, at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 3999 W. Dixie Highway, Oakland Park, Fla.

James is a native of Iowa. He graduated from Sutherland High School in 1965, and moved to South Florida in 1979. He was a diesel mechanic for over 40 years.

James is survived by son, Douglas Farquhar of Lakes Wales, Fla.; two daughters: Teresa Farquhar of Jupiter, Fla., and Leanna Farquhar of Boca Raton; ex-wife, Jacqueline Farquhar Meyers of Vero Beach, Fla.; brother, Donald Farquhar and wife, Linda of Sutherland; and one grandson.

Brooks Cremation and Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
