Interment will take place at 2 p.m. today at Riverside Cemetery of Spencer.
Lora passed away Friday, Sept. 14, 2007, near Rockford, Ill., the results of an automobile accident.
Lora Ann Krogman, the daughter of Jarold and Donna (Groen) Krogman, was born on Aug. 23, 1976, in Spencer. She was raised in Spencer where she attended school and graduated from Spencer High School in 1995. After graduation she attended Loras College in Dubuque majoring in English. Following graduation, she managed a Bed and Breakfast called the Red Roof Inn and then later she was the assistant manager at a restaurant called Fried Green Tomatoes in Galena, Ill.
Lora met Bob Bower in Dubuque and they moved to Caledonia, Il., where they worked together at an organic farm for about the last five years. Lora was involved in the daily operation of the farm, but mostly was involved in the human resources department. Lora was very involved in the making of a movie about the farm called "The Dirt On Farmer John" and also putting together a cookbook of organic recipes.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Arlyce Groen.
Lora is survived by her parents, Jarold and Donna Krogman of Spencer; two brothers: Brian Krogman and his wife, Julie, and Michael Krogman of Evansdale; her maternal grandfather, Robert Groen of Sibley; paternal grandparents, Dale and Mary Jean Krogman of Sibley; and her companion, Bob Bower and his three children: Eddie, Jack and Austin of Caledonia, Ill.
Warner Funeral Home of Spencer is in charge of arrangements.
