April Laubenthal and Matt Blum were united in marriage July 31, 2007, at the Belliago Fountain in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The bride is the daughter of Janet Laubenthal of South Dakota, and Calvin and Kathy Hamrick of Dickens, and the groom is the son of Mike and Diane Blum of Spencer.

Tia Manwarren, sister of the groom and friend of the bride, was Maid of Honor and Josh Manwarren, brother-in-law of the groom, was best man.

April is a 1999 graduate of Spencer High School and is employed by Sunshine in Spencer as a SCL instructor.

Matt is a 1997 graduate of Spencer High School and is employed by Walmart Tire Lube Express in Spencer as a support manager.

An October reception is planned for the couple in Spencer.
