(Photo submitted) Remedy Drive, an independent Christian rock band from Lincoln, Neb., consisting of four brothers, is making a stop in Spencer Wednesday at 7 p.m. to perform a free concert at the East Leach Park band shell. Remedy Drive is currently on tour in support of their most recent album "Rip Open The Skies." This new project, recorded in Nashville with producer Jim Cooper, focuses the energy and momentum of a band most known for the harmonies and intensity in their piano driven rock tunes. The concert Wednesday is free and band merchandise available for purchase. Games will begin at 6 p.m. and some special giveaways are planned. This is the first in a series of concerts this week. Olivia the Band will be closing the Extreme Am's Saturday night competition with a free public concert Saturday night at 6 p.m. at the band shell as part of its "Back to Friends Where Summer Never Ends" Celebration Tour. A free will offering meal will be served in conjunction with the concert. Sunday night, Olivia The Band will play a youth rally at New Life Worship Center, starting at 6:30 p.m.
