Funeral services for Timothy Blaine Quist, 44, of Emmetsburg, formerly of Gillett Grove, took place at 1:30 p.m., Monday, Aug. 6, 2007, at First Christian Church of Spencer. Rev. Tonna Parsons officiated the service.

Interment took place at North Lawn Memorial Park in Spencer.

Timothy passed away Thursday, Aug. 2, 2007, at Emmetsburg Care Center.

Casket bearers were Rick Geidl, Randy Geidl, Joshua Stouffer, Travis Stouffer, Albert Marcus, and Clint Quist.

Honorary bearers were Blaine Glienke, Cheyenne Glienke, Cord (Marvin Rae) Stulen, Brianna Heckes, Destiny Heckes and Marissa Heckes.

Timothy, the son of Marvin and Karen (Stouffer) Quist was born June 11, 1963, in Spencer. His childhood years were spent in Gillett Grove, where he attended South Clay Elementary. Through high school he participated in the Special Olympics where he was awarded several medals.

He was preceded in death by his father, Marvin Quist.

Tim is survived by his mother, Karen Quist of Belgrade, Minn.; two sisters: Susan Glienke and husband, David of Greenville, , and Kelli Hunter and husband, David of Belgrade, Minn.; and one brother, Brian Quist of Whittemore.

Warner Funeral Home in Spencer was in charge of arrangements.
