Melissa Brackin and Jamie Kruse

Mary Brackin and George Somsky of Lohrville, along with John Brackin of Fort Dodge, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Melissa Brackin, to Jamie (James) Kruse, son of Sue Hubbard of Spencer and the late Billy Kruse of Peterson.

Melissa is a 1998 graduate of Southern Cal Community High School in Lake City. She also attended Iowa Central Community College. She is a Direct Support Professional at Opportunity Living in Lake City.

Jamie is a 1993 graduate of Clay Central - Everly High School. He is a farmer in the Peterson area.

The couple will be married Saturday, July 28 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Spencer. The reception will be held at the Hap Ketelsen Community Center in Everly. The couple currently resides in Spencer with their son Anthony William Kruse.
