Sandra Wenke and Jacob Kress

Jacob Neil Kress and Sandra Kay Steffensmeier Wenke would like to announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.

The couple was engaged May 4, 2006 and is planning an Aug. 4, 2007 wedding in Fort Madison, with a reception in West Point.

Jacob is the son of Russell and Cynthia Kress of Webb. He is a 1999 graduate of Spencer High School and a 2006 graduate of Iowa State University, with degrees in Construction Engineering and Occupational Safety. He is employed by U.S. Fire Protection in Lake Forest, Ill. in building sprinkler design.

Sandra is the daughter of Ted and Michelle Wenke of Douds. She is a 1999 graduate of Fox Valley High School and a 2006 graduate of Iowa State University, with degrees in Agricultural Engineering, Math and Agricultural Education. She is employed by Case New Holland in Racine, Wis. in gear manufacturing.

The couple will reside in Pleasant Prairie, Wis.
