Accidents

* Evette Louise Iverson, 28, Petaluma, Calif., was backing up to a gas pump at the Holiday convenience store when a 1994 Chrysler Concord driven by Murray Joe Gafkjen, pulled into the path of Iverson's 2003 Honda Accord at 11:09 a.m. Thursday, June 14. Damage to the Concord is estimated at $1,000. Damage to the Honda is estimated at $2,500.

* Scott Duane Coldren, 48, Spencer, was trying to parallel park his 2007 semi-truck and flatbed at 1:40 p.m. Friday when his truck did not clear a legally parked 2005 Buick driven by Eleanor Jean Watson near the intersection of Sixth Street Southwest and Fourth Avenue Southwest.

* A 1987 Ford Bronco sustained $2,500 damage and a Spencer woman sustained minor injuries in a hit-and-run crash at 10:25 p.m. Saturday. The Bronco was parked on the east side of the street and the driver was getting items out of the SUV when a 1994 Eagle struck the open door and brushed the leg of the driver. The driver then left the scene. The Eagle sustained $1,000 damage. The Bronco sustained $2,500 damage. The crash took place near Third Avenue West and West Sixth Street.

* Sage Rhea Johnson, 20, Spirit Lake, was exiting the driveway area at 8:23 p.m. Tuesday between Cargo Express and Community State Bank when her 2000 Pontiac hit a 1998 Oldsmobile driven by Judith Marie Duus, 62, Spirit Lake. Damage to the vehicles is estimated at $1,500 each.
