Funeral services for Yvonne June Pullen, 72, of Fort Dodge, formerly of Spencer, will be held at 2 p.m. today Thursday, June 7 at Warner Chapel of Spencer. Rev. Phillip Somsen will officiate the service.

Casket bearers will be Rodney Birchard, Edward Birchard, David Birchard, Terry Edwards, David Tuttle Jr. and Jason McClain,

Honorary bearers will be Gary Edwards, Jeff McClain, Bill Birchard, Dwight Schumann, and Steve Birchard.

Interment will take place at Lone Tree Cemetery of Everly.

Yvonne passed away Tuesday, June 5, 2007, at Trinity Regional Medical Center of Fort Dodge.

Warner Funeral Home of Spencer is in charge of arrangements.

Yvonne, the daughter of Henry and Clara (Hvam) Tuttle, was born May 31, 1935, in Spencer. She received her schooling in Spencer where she graduated from Spencer High School.

Following graduation, Yvonne worked at A&M Laundry in Spencer.

On Jan. 21, 1954, Yvonne was united in marriage to Keith Pullen in Jackson, Minn.while he was on leave from the military. They resided in Spencer for nine years until moving to Fort Dodge in 1963.

Yvonne was a devoted mother who stayed at home raising her children. She then went to work for Olson Jewelry part time for 30 years, retiring in 2005.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers: Walter and Edward.

Yvonne is survived by her husband of 54 years, Keith Pullen of Fort Dodge; two daughters: Jennifer Jacobson and husband, Terry of Sauk Rapids, Minn., Kimberly Braun and husband, Jim of Newtown, Conn.; five grandchildren; three brothers: Marlo Tuttle of Durant, Francis (Buzz) Tuttle and his wife Kathleen of Omaha, Neb., and David Tuttle and wife, DeeAnn of Persia; three sisters: Lorraine (Sis) Birchard of Ruthven, Karoline Davis and husband, Lyle of Ayrshire, and Judy McClain and husband, Marlyn of Council Bluffs; and one sister in law, Ruth Tuttle of Florida.

Warner Funeral Home of Spencer is in charge of arrangements.
