The engagement of Joel Monahan and Evan Meyer is announced by their parents, Tom and Barb Monahan of Spencer and Bill and Barb Meyer of Hutchinson, Kan.
The wedding is planned for July 2007.
The bride-elect graduated from Central Christian High School and Hutchinson Community College. She attends Bethel College, majoring in nursing and is employed at Prairie Dunes Country Club.
The bridegroom-elect graduated from Spencer High School and Iowa State University with a degree in business. He was formerly employed at Prairie Dunes Country Club and is now an employee of Isleworth Country Club in Orlando, Fla.
