Funeral services for Mrs. Jeanne Nolting, 81, of Milford, will be held at 10:30 a.m. today, Saturday, April 28, 2007, at First English Lutheran Church of Spencer. Rev. Paul Kaldahl will officiate the service.

Interment will take place at Milford Cemetery.

Mrs. Nolting passed away at the Spencer Hospital on Wednesday, April 25, 2007, at the age of 81. Warner Funeral Home of Spencer is in charge of arrangements.

Jeanne Theda Nolting, the daughter of Oliver and Theda (Lambertus) Nattress, was born September 22, 1925, in Minnesota. Her early childhood years were spent near a lake in Minnesota. Her family later moved to Milford where she received her education, graduating from Milford High School in 1944. 

Jeanne married Lambert Fred Nolting on January 18, 1946, in Jackson, Minn. Following their marriage, they moved to a farm near Milford, where she assisted her husband in the farming operation and worked outside the home at various jobs including: Fishing Tackle, Wonder Bread, McQuay's and the North Y Truck Stop. She was a member of First English Lutheran Church in Spencer.

Mrs. Nolting was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lambert in 2003; two sisters: Opal Grobe and Olive Lundblad and a brother, Cedric Nattress.

She is survived by two sons: Steven Nolting and his wife, Judi of Spencer and Greg Nolting of Fort Dodge; one daughter, Connie Nolting and her significant other, Gary Baumgarn of rural Milford, six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
