Sally and Justin Leitch

Sally Simons and Justin Leitch were united in marriage Dec. 16, 2006 at St. Andrew Presbyterian Church in Iowa City, with Pastor Wallace Bubar officiating. A dinner and dance reception was held at the Iowa City Pleasant Valley Golf Course following the candlelight ceremony.

Parents of the couple are Bruce and Gayle Simons of Spencer and Duane and Harriet Leitch of Des Moines. Grandmothers of the bride are Fern Hargens, Spencer and Helene Simons of Webb. Grandmother of the groom is Augusta Leitch of Spencer.

Katie Simons, sister of the bride was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Suzy Piel, Kristen Strayer and Abby Harris, friends of the bride. Personal attendant was Lisa Bonorden, friend of the bride.

Best man was Steve Schnoor, friend of the groom. Groomsmen/ushers included Dan Wing and Brian Lewis, friends of the couple and Steve Simons, brother of the bride.

Following their spring graduation from the Carver College of Medicine in Iowa City, the couple will be moving to the Minneapolis area, where Sally will be doing her family medicine residency at Park-Nicollet Methodist Hospital in St. Louis Park and Justin will begin his pediatrics residency at the University of Minnesota.
