Amanda and Justin Baxter

Amanda Renee Marthaler and Justin Eugene Baxter, were united in marriage Oct. 7, 2006 at The Abby Hotel in Bettendorf. Rev. Becky David officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Roger and Cindy Strong of Muscatine and Tom and

Kristy Marthaler of Blue Springs, Mo. She is a Lead Teacher for the Davenport Community School System.

The groom is the son of Harvey and JoAnn Baxter of Spencer. He is a route salesman for Frito Lay, in Davenport.

Maid of Honor was Nicole Taylor, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were, Eling Garrett, Emilia Martin friends of the bride, and Jenn Baxter sister of the groom.

Best men were Joe Mohr, cousin of the groom, Tyler Baxter, brother of the groom, Ace Dhoogie and Matt Lockwood, friends of the groom.

Madalynn Svoboda, cousin of the bride was flower girl and Gabriel Marhaler, brother of the bride was ringbearer.

A reception was held at The Clarion Hotel in Davenport.

The couple reside in Davenport.
