Elizabeth Bomgaars and Ryan Harris

Steve and Marti Bomgaars of Spencer announce the engagement of their daughter, Elizabeth Bomgaars, to Ryan Harris, the son of Cordell and Linda Harris, of Waukee.

The future bride earned her degree in communications from the University of Northern Iowa and is pursuing a master's degree in higher education from Iowa State University.

The prospective groom earned his degreed in marketing from the University of Northern Iowa. He is employed by the Joliet JackHammers Professional Baseball Club in Joliet, Ill.

A June 2, 2007 wedding is planned at Sacred Heart Church in Spencer.
