Sara and Joshua Johnson

Sara Mingus and Joshua Johnson were united in marriage July 14, 2006 at The Inn at Okoboji, Okoboji. Rev. Tom Dettmer officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Jim and Diana Mingus of Spencer, and the groom is the son of Jim and Kathy Johnson of Onsted, Mich..

Maid of Honor was Jessi Frein, friend of the bride. Flower girl was Carolyn Steinmetz, niece of the groom.

Bridesmaids were Mara Severson, sister of the bride; Christa Mingus, sister of the bride; Jill Dodge, friend of the bride; and Kellie Dolzynski, friend of the bride.

Best man was Jeremy Johnson, brother of the groom.

Groomsmen were Justin Morse, cousin of the groom; Jason Young, friend of the groom; Justin Lowe, friend of the groom; and Danny Watson, friend of the groom. Ushers were Bob Sparrow and Hao Yung Chen, friends of the groom.

Sara is a retail buyer for Bi Vouac in Ann Arbor, Mich. Joshua owns Sparrow Athletics in Ann Arbor.

A reception was held at The Inn at. The couple reside in Ann Harbor.
