Funeral services for Mrs. Colleen Collette Lage, 78 of Spencer will be held at 11 a.m. today, Saturday, March 31, 2007 at Warner Chapel of Spencer. Rev. Tom Dettmer will officiate the service.

Interment will take place at Riverside Cemetery of Spencer.

Casket bearers will be Ronda Bean, Marianna Rowell, Lee Bean, Steven Rowell, Bill Lage and Tom Lage.

Colleen passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2007 at Spencer Hospital.

Colleen, the daughter of William R. and Opal A. Eisenmann Collins, was born Feb. 9, 1929, in Dysart. She received her early education and graduated from the Arnolds Park High School in Arnolds Park.

Colleen married Robert Keith Lage on June 1, 1947, in Spirit Lake. Following their marriage, they lived in Arizona, Colorado, Gillett Grove, Melvin, Albert City, and various other towns in Iowa before moving to Spencer in 1977. Colleen was a member of the Bethany Lutheran Church and State Line Travelers square dancing group.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Colleen is survived by her husband, Robert of Spencer; her three children: Ronda Kay Bean and her husband, Lee of Everly, William Grant Lage and his wife, Sherri of New Brighton, Minn., and Marianna Renae Rowell and her husband, Steven of Marion; and five grandchildren.

Warner Funeral Home of Spencer is in charge of arrangements.
