Funeral services for Mr. William Dale Price, 76 of Spencer will be held at 10 a.m., today, Saturday, March 17, 2007 at Warner Funeral Home of Spencer. Rev. Cheri Gelner will officiate the service.

Interment will take place at Riverside Cemetery of Spencer.

Military services will be conducted by VFW Clay County Post 3159.

Casketbearers will be Mike Patrick, Steve Quail, Randy Quail, Dan Rigby, Vernie Hughes and Ron Mills.

William passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2007 at Northshire Residence of Spencer.

William, the son of William and Vera Falline Price, was born on Oct. 19, 1930, in Spencer.His childhood years were spent in Spencer where he received his early education. On Nov. 18, 1950, William entered the military, serving in the United States Navy. After serving in the Navy for four years he was honorably discharged in Sept. 7, 1954.

On August 12, 1957, William married Arla Huntress in Jackson, Minn.Following their marriage, they lived in Spencer.William worked at the Spencer Ready Mix, Spencer Foods and Freeburg Construction Company and other jobs until his retirement in 1987. He was a member of the First Christian Church, V.F.W., the Moose Lodge and the Eagles.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife in 1977; one brother; and two sisters.

William is survived by his son, Earl Price and his wife, Vicki of Spencer; one grandson; four sisters: Ruth Ann Robinson of Okoboji, Gloria Tattman and her husband, Elwin, Lilly Mae Manley and her husband, Glen and Phyllis Murray and her husband, Gene -- all of Washington state; and one brother, Howard Price of Washington State.

Warner Funeral Home of Spencer is in charge of arrangements.
