Funeral services for Ida Augusta Jungjohan, 94 of Sutherland will be held at 1:30 p.m., today, Tuesday, March 6, 2007 at United Methodist Church of Sutherland. Rev. Dennis Hopes will officiate the service.

Interment will take place at Waterman Cemetery of Sutherland.

Casket bearers will be Craig Jungjohan, Cory Jungjohan, Barry Jungjohan, Tal Jungjohan, Brad Smith and Kevin Eipperle.

Ida passed away at the Sutherland Care Center on Friday, March 2, 2007.

Ida, the daughter of Henry and Ella Jones Hass, was born July 28, 1912 in Sutherland. Her childhood years were spent in Sutherland, where she received her education in a country school.

Ida married Clarence Henry Jungjohan on Dec. 10, 1930 in Sutherland. Following their marriage, they farmed near Sutherland for many years. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Sutherland, where she was active in the Ladies Aid and the Ladies Circle.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clarence; and one brother, Harold Hass.

Ida is survived by three sons: Milowe Jungjohan and wife, Janice of Terrell, Texas, Gary Jungjohan and wife, Nancy of Sutherland, and Keith Jungjohan of Terrell, Texas; nine grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
