Funeral services for Wanda Elaine Plagman, 74 of Spencer will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, March 2, 2007 at Dayspring Assembly of God Church of Spencer. Rev. Bob Van Wyk will officiate the service.

Visitation will begin at 12 p.m. Thursday with the family present from 6-8 p.m.

Interment will take place at Waterman Cemetery of Sutherland.

Wanda passed away Thursday, Feb. 22, 2007 at Grossmont Hospital of LeMesa, Calif.

Wanda, the daughter of David and Kate Ginger, was born March 6, 1932 in Gaza. Her childhood years were spent in rural Everly, where she received her education. 

Wanda married Willard Plagman on Nov. 30, 1948 in Peterson.  Following their marriage they lived in Peterson until 1963, when they moved to Spencer. Throughout her married life, Wanda worked at Longhouse Residence, Heartland Press as well as Standard Printing and Design, where she was still employed at the time of her death.

She is survived by her children: Patricia Lange and her husband, Duane of Duncombe, Michael Plagman and his wife, Fran of Estherville, Louella Zieman and her husband, Ronald of Spencer, Randy Plagman and his wife, Vicky of Spencer, Larry Plagman and his wife, Dawn of Santee, Calif., Leslie Plagman of Portland, Oregon, Theresa Plagman of Cheyenne, Wyo., and Scott Plagman and his wife, Mae of Santee, Calif.; 15 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren; one sister, Alvena Eldhardt of Spencer; one brother, Wayne Ginger of Everly; one brother-in-law, Clifford, Plagman and his wife, Shirley of Milford; and one sister-in-law, Gail Plagman of Laurens. 

Warner Funeral Home of Spencer is in charge of arrangements.
