Alexander John Jentilucci was born on Jan. 31, 1938, and passed away peacefully on April 12, 2024, at Stonebay Senior Living in Orono, Minnesota. Alex is survived by his wife, Dianne, and her brothers and sisters and their spouses and his nieces and nephews, all from the Twin Cities. Alex never lived in Spencer, but his wife, Dianne, grew up there and so did her brothers Dennis and Arlo, and her sisters Carol and Rhonda.

Gerald “Gerry” Johnson, 81, of Spencer, father of Kimberly Hanson and Joseph Johnson, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2023, at Sanford USD Medical Center and Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Cheryl Jean Hoye died April 4, 2024, at 76 years of age. She was preceded in death by her parents — Marcella Anna (Roelle) Levin and Albert Lewis Levin; her husband’s parents — Katherine Hoye and Harry Hoye; and her brother-in-law- James Hoye.

Bonnie Lou Hagedorn Jensen, 85, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on March 31, 2024, at Eagan Pointe Senior Living. She was born on Oct. 11, 1938, to Everett Hagedorn and Kathryn Carlson Hagedorn of Royal. She was baptized and confirmed in Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Royal. Bonnie graduated in 1956 from Royal High School, Royal where she excelled in music and sports. She was a star forward on the basketball team playing in two state tournaments. She married Richard A.
