Another summer is quickly wrapping up. It seems the older I get, the faster these seasons move past -- with the exception of winter, that seems to drag on forever. In our family, it marks a huge transition as our third child of six has moved on, leaving the nest to find his way under the watchful eye of his new "daddy," a U.S. Marine Corp drill instructor. So his mother and I sit impatiently awaiting his graduation date, in November, when he will go from being Recruit Cauthron to U.S. Marine Cauthron. We are also preparing to send our three remaining at home back to school for what I hope will be an exciting fall of sports, theater and music ... mixed with a little bit of education. Change is never easy but we are a product of those changes and I'm looking forward to this next chapter.
