Mother issuesPosted Wednesday, July 25, 2012, at 11:23 AM
Just watched an AP video on our website, www.spencerdailyreporter.com, which shows a mother, stopped by Wal-Mart security for allegedly shoplifting, take off and leave her one-year-old child in the cart - choosing to escape the scene and leave her baby behind. Common decency prevents me from sharing my true thoughts on this "woman" who abandons her child to save her own skin. Fortunately she was picked up the next day. Any thoughts on this behavior?

That's crap behavior. That's what it is. I don't know what circumstances led her to try and steal. It must have been hard, but you can't ditch your infant.
My feelings, (other than disgust at the "mother"),are fear for the child.
