Doers and doubtersPosted Tuesday, September 27, 2011, at 2:16 PM
Just a thought.
I've noticed lately, quite a bit lately actually, there are a lot of people who like to critique the works of others. I'm guilty of it myself. But I would challenge those of you who are chronic complainers - especially those who really "man up" and do their complaining and criticizing beneath the blanket of anonymity the Internet offers - to get involved rather than just take shots at those who do. There are a lot of people out there looking for ways to better peoples lives and the communities in which they live. Unfortunately, and quite sadly, there appear to be more people who lie in wait, then at the first opportunity attack those out there trying to make a difference. Rather than complain, why not step up and get involved by doing. The world needs more doers and less whiners. What's the old saying? "Nobody ever erected a statue for a critic." There are more.
absolutely! I at times have my share of things that I don't agree with but am more than willing to help change things! If everyone had this attitude so many more things would get done and truly help build a better community!
