A Call For Entry!

Are you an artist that would like to take part in the 2012 Artisans Road Trip open studio tour?! Do you know a quality artist that you think would like to be a part of this nearly decade long tradition?

If you answer yes to either question then now is the time to act!!! The 2012 Artisans Road Trip event is now in the jurying process for the 2012 event. All that is needed is to fill out an application and send in a CD with 3 sample images for jurying, and an application fee for the 2012 event - which actually encompasses a year-long benefit of publicity, full color brochures, a comprehensive website of all participating individual artists, museum and gallery exhibits throughout the year, and a lot, lot more!!!

The Artisans Road Trip is organized and run by artists for artists!

Blogger Bio - Bruce Morrison is an artist of the Tallgrass Prairie (Painter/Photographer/Print Maker). He and his wife Georgeann live on a small Tallgrass Prairie remnant where he works as a full-time artist throughout the year. Bruce takes his inspiration from the Tallgrass itself and the natural and cultural heritage of the tallgrass prairie region. Morrison graduated from the School of Art at the University of Iowa. His work can be found in public, corporate and private collections across the United States, Canada and overseas. Blog description - Bruce writes the blog for northwest Iowa's Artisans Road Trip and will share the daily process and ventures taken by area artists participating in each year's A.R.T. event. We'll look into the studio, the shows, the individual medium, and even the thought process of individual artists!
