2011 Artisans Road Trip Artist - Hank Hall

This 2011 Artisans Road Trip spot light is on Hank Hall! Hank Hall, Spirit Lake native, invites you to stop during the 2011 Artisans Road Trip at "Art on 16th", his creative laboratory in the heart of the Iowa Great Lakes.

Hall's eclectic gallery plus studio is located on 16th Street across from the post office in Olde Town Spirit Lake!

Hall's goal at Art on 16th is to present remarkable art for sale by area artists and to offer quality art classes for students of all ages and levels.

It's just around the corner! Be sure and take in the artists of the 2011 Artisans Road Trip on Friday - September 30 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Saturday through Sunday - October 1st and 2nd from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (each day)!

Blogger Bio - Bruce Morrison is an artist of the Tallgrass Prairie (Painter/Photographer/Print Maker). He and his wife Georgeann live on a small Tallgrass Prairie remnant where he works as a full-time artist throughout the year. Bruce takes his inspiration from the Tallgrass itself and the natural and cultural heritage of the tallgrass prairie region. Morrison graduated from the School of Art at the University of Iowa. His work can be found in public, corporate and private collections across the United States, Canada and overseas. Blog description - Bruce writes the blog for northwest Iowa's Artisans Road Trip and will share the daily process and ventures taken by area artists participating in each year's A.R.T. event. We'll look into the studio, the shows, the individual medium, and even the thought process of individual artists!
