  • Hummmmm......Sounds like the Catholic Church and the Penn State athletic program should compare notes.

  • SSGM270: It sounds like they already did. Leah was that part about the .357 part of the daycare duties or just an after thought? Were you ever a cop or just go to the school? Did you graduate? I was an Air Force SP for 4 yrs, made SSgt, and ended up as a supervisor. No one gave me as many headaches as newbies with your attitude. I had to take time to cut these guys down a notch to keep them from botching up every thing they did. There are certain people who when they get a badge and a weapon go completely nuts. They really enjoy pushing people around and intimidating anybody that will let them. If a civilian cop started beating people up before they took them in they would lose every case in court and the criminals would go free. And they could get hurt. And killing pedophiles? What happened to the constitution. Due process. A fair trial. How many times do you get to be wrong. You have to treat everybody the same because being wrong just once is once too many. Being judge, jury, and executioner is NOT in the job description of the police. All they have to do is cuff 'em and stuff 'em. And if necessary protect 'em. I'm glad you are not in that profession although you enjoy talking like you were. Talk like that should be saved for the bar. As of late I have seen a lot of cops with that attitude pepper spraying, beating with night sticks, shooting for the head with non-lethal weapons, severely injuring people who are trying to exercise their civil rights in the 'Occupy' movement. I'm sure you don't like these people either, but they are doing what they do for you and everybody else who belongs to the 99%. Oh, don't worry, you're not a 1%er by the way. If you have enough gumption to watch something for two hours or so, watch my Web TV station at: www.livestream.com/stargate_tv . Get back to me later if you dare.

  • By the way, somebody should have stopped him. Legally.

  • Hmmm, Lee51 seems you need to redirect your anger at the ones who deserve it...pedophiles in general and those who stand by and let them get away with it. I will never advocate anyone knowing that a child is being molested and stands by and does nothing. That is exactly what all those people at Penn State did. That's all this was about. And by the way, I don't spend time in any bars and I'm too busy working for a living to occupy anything. As for you jabs at me about the other stuff, I chose being a mom over being a cop. I'm not a violent person and wouldn't have been a violent cop but thanks for assuming.

  • Tell me Leah. What special place in Hell is reserved for the thousands of Priests, Bishops, Cardinals and popes who raped and abused many many children or stood by and covered the crimes up for hundrewds of years?

  • Cookster, I don't know the answer to your question but I feel the same about them as I do about the coaches or any other pedophile. The church should have turned them over to the authorities immediately and anyone who knew about any of it is as culpable as Paterno. I don't believe any of them should go free and I believe in Capital Punishment for any pedophile. That belief is between me and my maker and I'm sure I'll have to answer for it.

  • Your answer strikes me as genuine and heartfelt.
