Calling Miranda Lambert fansPosted Tuesday, April 27, 2010, at 3:06 PM
Greetings all!
For my first ever blog, I am asking specifically for your questions. I'm not looking for questions for me, but for questions to ask country singer and songwriter Miranda Lambert. As we all know, she is coming to town on May 8. I figured I would give her fans in the area the opportunity to ask her a question. So, if you're just dying to know what her favorite food or brand of guitar strings is, let me know and I'll ask her. This is your chance. I'm in contact with her publicist and will hopefully be interviewing her within the next few days, so please send in your question and I'll do my best to get an answer for you. I'd be curious to know if she knows the air-speed velocity of an unladen swallow. If she has any reaction other than confusion, then she has good taste.
I will fully admit that I don't listen to country music, and haven't a clue who Miranda Lambert is.
I'd love to know how she keeps her relationship with Blake Shelton going strong when they have to spend a lot of time apart?
What's your favorite ice cream flavor??
What is your favorite fragrance/perfume!?
How about doing some research as a reporter and asking your own questions instead of relying upon your readers to do the job for you?
How about reading the blog before running your fingers, exspencerman. Gabe said, and I quote, "I figured I would give her fans in the area the opportunity to ask her a question". Thank you Gabe for giving those interested in Miranda the chance to ask her questions, through you of course. :)
exspencerman, exactly how else was Gabe supposed to "research" reader questions? Ridiculous...
Gabe, do you have psychic powers? Who knew? Think how that could help you in your reporting! Who needs research anyway when you can probe our minds for questions about Miranda?
I would be interested to know who her musical inspirations are.
Here's my question for her....is this the lamest venue you've ever played in?
Thanks everyone for your questions. I sent them to Miranda along with my own questions.
Sorry, exspencerman, the polls are closed. I did ask her why she decided to bring her tour to a small market like Spencer. Personally, coming from a town twice the size of Spencer, I am glad we can get award-winning acts throughout the year. In Fort Dodge, the only chance to do that is in the summer as there is not any sort of real venue there. The events center was actually a big draw for me for that reason. But this is a blog so of course you can share whatever opinions you have.
Thanks again.
Ran, have you thought about talking to Sony about releasing your music on vinyl as there is a resurgence in commercial demand for new vinyl?
Oops...I missed this.
