A favorite place of mine...Posted Sunday, April 25, 2010, at 1:08 PM
With that said, I am proud to announce that I am now the Children's Librarian at the Webb Public Library! I am doing my first children's program on Saturday May 1st. We will be reading a book about Frogs and will make our very own paper plate frogs! All ages are invited! I would also love to invite everyone to become a fan of the Webb Public Library on facebook! Just search for Webb Public Library and you can be kept up to date on all the happenings going on at the library! We'd love to see you all at the library!! My name is Heather and I've lived in Northwest Iowa most of my life. I have 2 sisters of which I am the middle child. I am a proud aunt to a niece and nephew who I love and adore. I went to South Clay until I finished 6th grade. I then went to Laurens-Marathon where I graduated in 2001. From there I attended NIACC in Mason City where I recieved a college degree in 2003. I started working when I was 16 at K-Mart in Spencer. I have also worked at Wal-Mart in Spencer and at Northwest Communications in Havelock. I am one of those unlucky ones that is currently unemployed. I am also recently divorced. With the loss of a job and the end of a marriage, I am back in the home where I grew up.

That's great, Heather! Congratulations on landing ajob, and such a cool one at that. I have a seven year old and we will have to check out the Webb library this summer. My husband has a couple of cousins who live out between Webb and Marathon on the old family farms.
I actually landed 2 jobs in one week! :-) I would love to have both you and your 7 year old join us at the library!
This brings back a bunch of memories. My Grandma lived in Webb all her life and I spent many days as a kid running around that town.
Congrats, and welcome to the world of libraries! I'm up at the Milford Library :)
