I was raised in Northwest Iowa, and graduated from Spencer High School. Shortly after graduation, I moved to a large city on the west coast, where I lived for around twelve years before returning. After working in veterinary medicine and canine behavior consulting for nearly thirteen years, I made a career change and now work as the Special Projects coordinator at the Milford Memorial Library. I live in Spencer with my husband, toddler daughter, two dogs, and two cats.
